Welcome to JK Caterers India! These Terms and Conditions govern your use of our catering services, website (www.jkcaterersindia.com), and any related mobile applications. By engaging our services, placing an order, or accessing our platform, you agree to be bound by these terms. Please read them carefully.

1. Scope of Services

JK Caterers India provides catering services, including menu planning, food preparation, delivery, and event staffing, as agreed upon in your booking or contract. All services are subject to availability and may vary based on location, event size, and specific requirements.

 

2. Booking and Confirmation

  • Booking Process: To book our services, you must submit a request via our website, phone, email, or in person. A booking is confirmed only after we accept your request and issue a confirmation (via email or written agreement) along with an invoice.

  • Deposit: A non-refundable deposit (e.g., 50% of the total amount, unless otherwise specified) is required to secure your booking. The remaining balance is due as per the payment schedule.

  • Minimum Order: A minimum order value may apply depending on the event type and location (details provided at booking).

 

3. Payment Terms

  • Pricing: All prices are quoted in Indian Rupees (INR) and are subject to change. Final pricing will be confirmed in the booking agreement.

  • Payment Methods: We accept cash, bank transfer, UPI, or credit/debit cards via secure third-party gateways. Additional charges may apply for certain payment methods.

  • Late Payments: Failure to pay the balance by the due date may result in cancellation of services, with forfeiture of the deposit.

  • Taxes: Goods and Services Tax (GST) or other applicable taxes will be added to the invoice as per Indian law.

 

4. Cancellations and Refunds

  • Cancellation by Customer:

    • Cancellations must be made in writing at least [e.g., 7 days] prior to the event date to receive a partial refund (e.g., 50% of the deposit). No refund will be provided for cancellations within [e.g., 3 days] of the event.

    • The deposit is non-refundable under all circumstances.

  • Cancellation by JK Caterers India: We reserve the right to cancel services due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., natural disasters, staff unavailability). In such cases, we will refund all payments received, excluding the deposit.

  • No-Shows: No refunds will be issued if you fail to attend or provide access for the event.

 

5. Event Changes and Modifications

  • Requests to modify event details (e.g., date, menu, guest count) must be made at least [e.g., 5 days] prior to the event. Changes are subject to availability and may incur additional costs.

  • Last-minute changes may not be accommodated, and JK Caterers India is not liable for any resulting inconvenience.

 

6. Dietary Requirements and Allergies

  • You must inform us of any dietary restrictions, allergies, or special requirements at the time of booking. We will make reasonable efforts to accommodate these, but JK Caterers India is not liable for any allergic reactions or health issues arising from unnotified preferences.

  • We adhere to food safety standards but cannot guarantee allergen-free environments.

 

7. Delivery and Setup

  • Delivery: Delivery charges may apply based on location and distance. Delivery times are estimated, and delays due to traffic or unforeseen circumstances are not our responsibility.

  • Setup and Cleanup: Setup and cleanup services are included unless specified otherwise. Additional charges may apply for extended setup/cleanup time or special requests.

 

8. Liability and Indemnity

  • JK Caterers India is not liable for any loss, damage, or injury caused by third parties (e.g., venue owners, guests) or events beyond our control (e.g., power outages, weather conditions).

  • Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the services.

  • You agree to indemnify JK Caterers India against any claims arising from your misuse of our services or failure to disclose relevant information (e.g., allergies).

 

9. Intellectual Property

  • All content on our website, including logos, menus, and images, is the property of JK Caterers India and protected by Indian copyright laws. You may not reproduce or distribute it without our written consent.

 

10. Use of Website and Mobile App

  • Eligibility: You must be at least 18 years old to use our services or website.

  • Prohibited Activities: You agree not to use our platform for illegal purposes, to upload malicious content, or to interfere with its functionality.

  • Availability: We strive to maintain uninterrupted service but are not liable for downtime due to maintenance or technical issues.

 

11. Force Majeure

JK Caterers India shall not be liable for delays or failure to perform due to events beyond our control, including but not limited to natural disasters, government restrictions, or pandemics.

 

12. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

  • These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in [e.g., Mumbai, India].

  • We encourage amicable resolution. If unresolved, disputes may be referred to arbitration under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996.

 

13. Termination of Services

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend services if you breach these terms, provide false information, or engage in abusive behavior. No refunds will be issued in such cases.

 

14. Changes to Terms and Conditions
