At JK Caterers India, we strive to provide exceptional catering services. This Refund Policy outlines the conditions under which refunds are granted for our services. By engaging our services or placing an order, you agree to the terms outlined below.

1. Eligibility for Refunds
Refunds may be considered in the following circumstances:

Cancellation of services by the customer within the specified timeframe.

Cancellation by JK Caterers India due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., natural disasters, staff unavailability).

Errors or discrepancies in service delivery (e.g., incorrect food items delivered) reported promptly.
2. Cancellation by Customer

Notification: All cancellation requests must be made in writing via email (jkcaterersmumbai@gmail.com) or through our official contact channels.

Refund Timeline:

Cancellations made at least 5-7 days prior to the event date will receive a partial refund of 50% of the total amount paid, excluding the deposit.

Cancellations made within 3-6 daysprior to the event will receive a partial refund of 25%excluding the deposit.

No refund will be provided for cancellations within 2 days of the event date.

Deposit: The initial deposit (e.g., 50% of the total amount, unless otherwise specified) is non-refundable under all circumstances, as it secures your booking and covers preparatory costs.
3. Cancellation by JK Caterers India

We reserve the right to cancel your booking due to unforeseen events beyond our control (e.g., government restrictions, natural disasters, or supplier issues).

In such cases, we will notify you as soon as possible and issue a full refund of the amount paid, excluding the non-refundable deposit. No additional compensation will be provided.
4. No-Shows

If you or your representatives fail to attend the event or provide access for service delivery, no refund will be issued. This includes cases where the event is postponed or canceled without prior notice to us.
5. Service Issues

If you experience issues with our services (e.g., late delivery, incorrect orders), you must notify us within 24 hours of the event. We will investigate and, at our discretion, offer a partial refund, replacement service, or credit for future use.

Refunds for service issues are limited to the affected portion of the order and will not exceed the total amount paid.
6. Payment Processing and Refund Timeline

Refunds will be processed using the original payment method within 7-14 working days from the date of approval, subject to bank processing times.

For cash payments, refunds will be issued via bank transfer or cheque to the account/email provided.

Administrative fees (if applicable) may be deducted from the refund amount.
7. Non-Refundable Items

The deposit is non-refundable, as it covers planning, procurement, and reservation costs.

Customized menus, special orders, or perishable goods prepared specifically for your event are non-refundable once production begins.

Additional charges (e.g., delivery fees, staffing costs) are non-refundable unless the cancellation is due to our error.
8. Force Majeure

JK Caterers India is not liable for delays or failures to perform due to events beyond our control (e.g., pandemics, natural disasters, government restrictions). Refunds in such cases will be limited to the discretion of the company, as outlined in Section 3.
